Dr. David Portee

Dr. Portée earned his B.S.E. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the College of  Engineering, University of Michigan, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He also earned his Medical Degree from the University of Michigan. Dr. Portée completed his internship at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit and residency at Detroit Rehabilitation Institute, Wayne State Medical Center. He is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as well as Electrodiagnostic Medicine. Dr. Portée has been given the “Top Doctors” Award Orlando, Florida, in 2008, 2009, 2010, & 2011 and was the first physician to receive the Florida Safety Council’s Golden Star Safety Award, 2005.

Dr. Portée is the Medical Director of Orlando Health Rehabilitation Institute, the Medical Director of Inpatient Rehabilitation Units at Orlando Health Lucerne Pavilion, the Medical Director of Orlando Health Physician Group,  Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, and is a Clinical Assistant Professor, Florida State University College of Medicine.
